Allepey is also famous for the boat races. A day or a night cruise is a must on the Allepey backwaters.

Munnar- Munnar is a scenic hill station of Kerala. It is a popular resort town owing to its alluring tea plantations, lovely weather and roundabout lanes.  The main attraction here is the Neelakurinji flower that blooms in every 12 years. You also get to be at the highest point of South India, Anamudi which is an ideal spot for trekking.  The other places to look around for are Mattupetty Dam, Top Station, Tea Museum, Eravikulam National Park.

Kovalam Beach- When it comes to beaches in Kerala, nothing beats the Kovalam. If you are looking for leisure and nature’s bliss then it is one of the finest beaches to sit back and relax. Thekkady- Thekkady tourism is all about elephants, plantations, hills and wildlife reserves. Thekkady is best known for the Periyar Tiger reserve. The Periyar Park and the sanctuary are surrounded by Cardamom hills. The Periyar Lake that meanders in the middle of the sanctuary is the perfect place to spot animals in their natural habitat. Boating in the lake offers a great scope for watching the wildlife. You could also go for trekking in the forests.
